What we collect, and what we do with it.

Who this applies to
This page covers two things. First, taigergroup.com.au and the enquiries that come through it. Second, the systems we build and run for our clients: the missed-call text-back, the follow-up texts and emails, the booking reminders, the review requests, the chat assistant on the website and the voice agent that answers calls. If you have dealt with one of our clients and received a message from their system, the second part is about you.
Both are operated by Jacob McCormick trading as Taiger Group, ABN 37 898 835 101, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. We are a small Australian business and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles whether or not the law requires it of a business our size.
This site: the enquiry form
The website mockup form asks for your business name, your trade or business type and your suburb, plus your current website or Facebook page and your logo if you want to give them. Then it asks for your name, your mobile and your email, which is where we send the mockup link. The AI enquiry form asks for your name, an email or mobile, and a short description of what you need. The lead response form asks for your first and last name, your mobile and your email, with your business name and trade optional, and the plan you've picked, if any.
If you attach a logo, the file's stored with Vercel Blob, the file storage that sits with our hosting, and only a link to it travels with your enquiry. That link isn't published anywhere, but anyone who has it can open the file. We use it to build your mockup.
Each form also records which page it was sent from and, when you arrived from an ad or a link that carries them, the campaign tags in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and the click identifier (gclid, fbclid or msclkid). These tell us which ad or link brought you here so we know what is working. They are kept with your enquiry and used for nothing else.
Submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service, to the group's mailbox. Web3Forms processes the submission to deliver it; its own privacy policy governs that processing. Nothing is sent until the form is connected to a live account; while it is not connected, the form says so and nothing leaves your browser.
Your details are used to reply to you, prepare a mockup or a scope, and follow up on that enquiry. They are not sold or shared with anyone else.
This site: the optional box
Each form has one optional box: occasional email from us about what we build. It is unticked by default and leaving it unticked never affects your enquiry. If you tick it, every message we send identifies who it is from and carries a working unsubscribe, and you can stop at any time by using it or by replying STOP to a text. STOP stops marketing messages only; it never stops a reply about the enquiry you sent.
The systems we run for clients
When a tradesperson or a service business uses one of our systems, the business you dealt with is the one collecting your information, and its own privacy page is the first place to look. We build and run the system on its behalf. This is what that means in practice.
What is collected. Your name and mobile number or email address, the messages sent and received, the fact and time of a missed call, a booking and its reminders, a review request, and what you tell the chat assistant or the voice agent. Where a call is recorded, you are told at the start of the call. Nothing is collected that the system does not need to answer you, follow up your enquiry, or remind you about a job you asked for.
Why a message reaches you. You called or messaged the business, filled in its form, booked a job, or had a job done. The first text after a missed call or an enquiry is the business getting back to you. A reminder is about a booking you made. A review request follows a job that was done for you. Marketing is separate: the business sends it only to people who have agreed to receive it, and every message says who it is from.
Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any text and you will receive no further marketing from that business. STOP does not stop a message about a job you have asked for, such as a booking reminder, and it does not stop the business replying if you contact it again. You can also ask the business directly, or ask us through the enquiry form, and we will make the change in the system the same day we see it.
Automated assistants. The chat assistant and the voice agent say they are automated before they collect anything. A person is available on request, and nothing an assistant says is a binding quote or a promise on the business's behalf.
Where it is held. The system runs on a customer relationship platform we build on, in an account that belongs to the business. That platform's servers may be outside Australia. Your information is held there on the business's behalf, and the platform processes it under its own privacy policy. The texts come from a dedicated Australian business number.
Who sees it. The business, so it can do the job you asked about. Us, to set the system up, keep it running, fix problems and prepare the business's reports. Nobody else. We never use a client's customer information for our own marketing, we never combine it across clients, and we never sell it.
How long it is kept. For as long as the business keeps its system with us, because it is the business's record of its customers. When a business leaves, its records are exported to it and removed from our access. If you want your details corrected or deleted before then, ask the business or ask us, and we will do it unless the business needs the record for a job it is still doing for you.
Replies
Once we reply to an enquiry sent to us, the conversation is kept in the mailbox it arrived in, for as long as it is useful to the work you asked about.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and, as shipped, runs no analytics. If an analytics service is added later, this page will say which one, and no names, phone numbers or form contents will be sent to it.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's servers keep standard access logs, including IP address and request details, under Vercel's own policies.
Your requests, and complaints
To see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, ask through the enquiry form and say it is a privacy request. We answer within 30 days and usually much sooner. If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us the same way and we will look into it and reply in writing. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects how a client's system handles your information is made in the system and here at the same time.
